s of Wednesday night, England's World Cup dreams came crashing down and although we're heartbroken and miserable, it's made our mornings to see so much support from the media.
Making it to the semi-finals has proven to everybody how far we've come as a team.
The last Fußballtrikots Kinder Athletic Bilbao time we placed this high was in 1990, meaning some fans have never seen us in a semi-final placement in their lives, but the dream was shattered on Wednesday night thanks to a 109th minute goal from Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic, the man for the big occasion.
With 7 shots on target from Croatia, Pickford rarely let us down with his consistent saves, but despite the loss, the media have made us all more patriotic and proud than we could have ever imagined.
Front and back pages calling our players Fußballtrikots Kinder Inter Mailand "Heroes" and "National Treasures" reminds us of how far we've come in this World Cup.
It fills our hearts with pride to see our players painted as heroes for once and leaves us with hope for the playoff.
Thoughts on the media's portrayal of England throughout the tournament?
